Social Activities at LAC VII
An in depth lecture program is at the heart of the Lipoedema Australia Conference, but some of the most valuable moments happen between sessions: in conversations over coffee, in shared meals, and during dedicated social events.
These gatherings give delegates the chance to relax, reflect on what they’ve heard, and build connections that often last well beyond the conference itself.
We’ve planned a range of social opportunities to bring together patients, advocates, clinicians and friends from around the world, fostering connection and community in the vibrant city of Melbourne.
Launch Party
Friday 12th November
Kick off the Lipoedema Australia Conference with our Launch Party after the first full day of sessions. This is your chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new friends, and start building the conversations that will help to shape the days ahead.
The Launch Party also gives you an opportunity to browse the Exhibition Hall, explore the latest products, services, and innovations from our exhibiting partners in a relaxed, informal setting.

Who can attend: Registered Lipoedema Australia Conference delegates
Delicious cocktail-style food and a selection of beverages will be served throughout the evening.
The Launch Party is included in 2 and 3 day in-person conference registrations, and additional tickets can be purchased during registration should you wish to bring a guest.
To help us plan catering and ensure we can accommodate all dietary and accessibility requirements, we ask that you indicate your attendance when you complete your registration. If your plans change, please update your RSVP via the delegate portal or by contacting us directly.
Gala Dinner
Saturday 13th November
End the conference on a high note with our Gala Dinner, a special evening designed to celebrate the connections made, the knowledge shared, and the progress achieved during the Lipoedema Australia Conference.
The Gala Dinner is co‑hosted with the Lipedema World Congress, bringing together patients, clinicians, researchers, patient advocates, and supporters for one memorable night. It’s a wonderful opportunity to mingle with colleagues from around the world, deepen existing collaborations, and make new friends in a warm and convivial atmosphere.

Location: An extraordinary Melbourne venue - we're keeping it a secret for now!
Who can attend: Registered Lipedema World Congress and Lipoedema Australia Conference delegates, and their guests.
Guests will enjoy a three‑course dinner with beverages (beer, wine & soft drinks) included, accompanied by a thoughtfully curated programme of entertainment that reflects the spirit of the lipoedema community. Expect an evening of laughter, inspiration, and plenty of opportunities to dance, chat, and celebrate together. Don't forget to pack your dancing shoes!
The Gala Dinner is ticketed separately from the main conference. You can add your ticket when you register, or purchase one at a later date via the delegate portal – subject to availability. As numbers are limited, we encourage you to secure your place early to avoid missing out.
